Self-Confident Community Girl
PRATIMA, a Community Girl from Glasskal in Buddhu Compound area of Titagarh continues teaching the children as she finds it very meaningful. She pledges to make children good human beings because she herself relates with those who are suffering from poverty in Titagarh backward industrial region.
“I’m an ordinary person and no one would really care for me… but since the time I joined
PARIVARTAN I get special kind of respect and affection from elderly people of my locality. There is an inner voice that tells me to do something for these children who are still under darkness”, narrates Pratima.
She continues teaching very brilliantly in the Community-based Education Centre. Her efficiency and commitment she was made Organisation’s newly formed Resource Group.
PARIVARTAN has given me an opportunity to contribute to my own community and a new direction to my life, Pratima claims.
